Notification

Finalists and Alternates will be notified of acceptance via their Blackbaud account (at NCSSM) in early April. Students must log in to Blackbaud and accept/decline the invitation.

Finalists

Look for an email from Lori Tyler (tylerle@appstate.edu) (usually during the second week of April) with additional instructions. Emails will be sent to both student and parent(s) email addresses that were indicated on the application.

Forms and documents will begin to be emailed to all AppState SVSM Finalists. Please read all of the included information and return all forms by the stated deadlines.

Classes will be assigned after you accept your invitation and you have submitted your class preferences. Please review class descriptions (found under the Academics tab). You will be emailed a link to a Google Form to complete in order to rank your choices. We will do our best to assign you to your top choices, but please know that no matter what class you are assigned, you will have a fantastic learning experience!

Alternates

Please know that we do not have an 'order' to your listing on our alternate list. We invite alternates according to their interest indicated on your SVSM application and spacing in our research classes. Alternate invitations will occur April 15-May 15. Lori Tyler will also be sending you an email with additional information.
