Residence Life

Summer 2016 Housing will be in Cone Residence Hall.

Students live in the residence hall under the supervision of qualified residential advisors who provide guidance and plan social, athletic, cultural, and co-curricular activities. All of the Summer Ventures institutes operate under statewide guidelines regarding curfews, dating, sign-outs, and visitors. Additional rules may be established as needed at the respective sites.

Students are not allowed to have cars on campus, and drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited. Students who not adhere to regulations, who act in an immature manner or fail to take advantage of the academic opportunities offered by the program will be dismissed.

Computer Usage & Internet Access

Students have access to the computer labs and library computers at the University. These labs include PCs and Macs. Most areas of campus support wireless access and we encourage students to bring an ethernet cable for internet connection in the residence hall if they bring a personal computer, but wireless access is available. Students will be provided a print card to pay for course-related printing in the campus computer labs and library.

We strongly encourage students to bring a personal laptop or tablet device!
